Delicious American cuisine is easily acquired in Cass County. For those interested in a lovely meal paired with a fantastic cocktail, The 1886 in Harrisonville offers creatively crafted American classics and incredible Italian fare. Start your night with friends with their fabulous homemade spinach and artichoke dip. For a classic barbecue experience, you can find great ribs and brisket at Branding Iron BBQ. They also cater, so call them if you want a backyard party with less mess! 

Cass County is also populated with some of Missouri’s best coffee places. For connoisseurs looking for the perfect roast, Missouri Mud Co, 29 Sparrow Lane Coffee & Gifts, Brew Daddy’s Cafe & Coffee, and Brick House Coffee offer amazing lattes cappuccinos, and more.  

Things to Do

Given Cass County’s rich history as an agricultural hub, it's no wonder that a favorite local event for residents is the fabulous Cass County Fair. Typically running in mid-July, this fair features amazing live music, a rodeo, motorsports events, and an incredible livestock show. The Cass County Fair is a microcosm of the American county fair at its best. Residents also love to frequent the beautiful Harrisonville City Park. Join a pickup basketball game or take a kayak out on Luna lake! There are open tennis courts, a 9-hole sand golf course, and even a public paintball field that residents can enjoy. 

Another local favorite is the Belton Fall Festival, which brings in local bands and food trucks while hosting various family-friendly events. Take the kids to the petting zoo or to get their faces painted!
